Pilot Schools Network

The GATE Center Pilot School Network is where research meets the classroom. In collaboration with public and private schools, we test, refine, and document practices that support gifted and high-achieving students.

What is a Pilot School?;
School unit that implements selected R&D models/tools with support, monitoring and evaluation.

How does a school participate?

-Declaration of interest & brief description of needs
-Select pilot interventions (e.g. identification, differentiation, SEL)
-Agreement on schedule and roles

Support Model & Training

-Introductory seminars & teacher micro-trainings
-Classroom toolkits (lesson kernels, rubrics, protocols)
-Mentoring/monitoring with regular feedback

Evaluation & Ethics

-Lightweight classroom data collection with an emphasis on pedagogical improvement
-Informed consent, privacy, anonymization
